Condi tells us that "Hamas is holding Palestinians hostage"? Doesn't the same hold true for Israel? ~~~ ?

Yes Israel should give them land and autonomy. It is after all, Palestinians homeland. Israel is as much of, if not more than the oppressive, terrorist regime they claim Hamas to be. Either that or we, Americans, should just get out of it and watch Israel get the beating they probably deserve.
