I'm building my own nuclear power plant...?
funny, funny! Acquiring U-235 pellets must have been a major challenge, and a handling nightmare. The density of U is more than lead, so moving the fuel "pellets" would take more than a pallet jack. The neutron flux off of high-purity U-235 would give you radiation poisoning in a "New York minute". Just the shielding for a test reactor takes up more room than most garages. The controls system for the same test reactor requires more power than the typical 100 to 220 amps to a residence. And you've done this without issues with zoning laws?
