What age is too young, right or too old to have kids?

I notice that now a days teenagers get pregnant like nothing. I once wanted a baby when I was 17 years old. I'm glad that I didn't get pregnant though. Financially and mentally I was not ready. I'm now 28 yrs old and I believe I'm too old now to have kids. However, I am now working full time, I'm an educator, I have everything I didn't before but I still think I am not ready for a child and at the same time I believe I'm too old to be a mother. My boyfriend he's a pilot. His career is flourishing as we speak, so my question is this: is it too late to get pregnant? Did I miss my break?
