Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Deluxe Edition error?

After installation, I click on the Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 logo on my desktop, or in 'My Computer' (The icon of a Panda), and an error report comes up, reading "Runtime Error. Program Files\Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\RCT3plus.exe. abnormal program termination". The game refuses to load. I have restarted my computer before trying again, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice. I have a Vista laptop. Is there anything I need to install: Patches, etc. Thanks
