I'm failing Algebra I, and other matters?

I'm in the 8th grade, and I'm in Algebra I honors. My grade is 55%, an F. I failed almost all of the tests, and I have the lowest grade in my whole cl. I'm pretty sure my teacher hates me. It's the end of the third quarter, and report cards are going to be sent out in a week or so. My mom doesn't know about this, but I know that if she finds out, she's going to go ballistic on me. She's got enough on her plate already right now, and I really don't want to add more by asking for a tutor(which would involve me explaining my grade, and... Yeah...). Is this grade going to affect high school at all? What should I do about my report card? Should I tell her now? I don't want her to be pissy. |:
